Head tattoos

Head tattoos are certainly among the most expressive tattoos of all. We notice it directly when the face and head appear visually different from what we are used to. However, a tattoo on the head is certainly not a beginner tattoo. This starts with the fact that a head tattoo is much more painful than a tattoo on other parts of the body. The skin on the head is very thin and sensitive, plus there is a bone directly underneath and, at least for most people, very little fatty tissue.

But also the impression that you make with a head tattoo on other people, you should consider. So head tattoos are also sometimes called "job stopper", just like tattoos on the face or on the hands. What is meant by this is that with such obvious tattoos that you can't hide, you obviously can't hold any job anymore. At least today this is not yet generally accepted in society.

For each tattoo you have to shave the hair in the respective place. This can be on the head for some people already an overcoming. But most of all, I'm sure some wonder: Will the hair grow back?

You can be reassured, because the hair grows back without losses. Of course, this can also be an advantage if you are tired of your head tattoo at some point or if you want to hide it on certain occasions. As a man, however, you should be aware that a natural baldness is also not so rare and the hiding then may no longer work.

Of course, the shape of the head offers a variety of options. Often round tattoos are stung, such as mandalas. Even more often, however, smaller motifs are stung, which cover only a part of the head. Especially popular is the area behind the ear or the lower back of the head.

Depending on the color of the hair, you do not necessarily have to have a completely shaved head for the presentation, it is usually enough to cut the hair short, so that the tattoo shines through.

Especially if one is already pretty fully tattooed on the body, a head tattoo is a nice thing for experienced tattoo fans to complete their overall work of art.
