UV Tattoos: The fluorescent tattoos in black light colours

This is because they offer an art that is not obvious and permanently present to superiors, colleagues and customers. Despite the fact that tattoos are becoming more and more accepted in professional life, with black light tattoos, you no longer have to make a decision for your career or even your entire life. Because you don't have to hide, cover or remove these tattoos for your profession. Of course, the UV tattoos are also ideal for the passionate clubbers and party animals among you, because this is the best way to show off your extraordinary tattoo.

With the UV color you can either have your tattoo completely stung or also conjure up playful accents on already stung tattoos. So you can refresh your old tattoo, for example, simply with a bright neon to emphasize new parts of your tattoo.

Despite the special tattoo color, your UV tattoos will never be completely invisible. The relief, so the shape of the tattoo remains even in daylight, partly the tattoo needle can also leave unsightly traces. In addition, the new colors are hardly researched and little controlled, unlike the conventional tattoo colors. There are also no long-term studies on the application on humans, the fluorescent paint is used in nature so far only for the marking of wild animals. Thus, these colors, like any other tattoo color, however, can also be rejected by the immune system. As a result, allergic reactions, inflammations, swellings and rashes can occur - even years after the tattoo has been stitched. So questions about the compatibility and dangers of these inks are not yet verifiable. To help ensure the safety of fluorescent inks, you should make sure the ink is DFA approved, does not contain phosphorus, radioactive material, EverGlow or carcinogens. It should also not contain any preservatives or chemical additives. In this regard, ask your tattoo artist what ink they use. The removal of black light tattoos is more difficult than the removal of conventional tattoos. Since humans can not break down the fluorescent colors themselves, a removal by laser is not possible. The only remaining option is surgical removal in the form of an operation, which can cause pain and scarring.

The technique of UV tattooing is identical to that of "normal" tattoos. The same equipment can be used, but the situation is more complex and complicated. Here it depends however particularly on the used color. For example, if only UV inks are used, the tattoo artist must also work under UV lighting. The stitching under black light is somewhat more difficult, because the tattoo artist must proceed with extreme caution, so that no mistake happens to him. Otherwise, unsightly UV spots could disfigure the skin under black light. The time required for these tattoos is also higher, because the ink is less easily absorbed by the skin. Since the UV pigments are thicker than those in conventional colors, you should bring a good third more time. Thus, these tattoos consequently also cost more.

Only the color "Titanium White" is really invisible in daylight and only visible in black light. All other UV colors appear like normal tattoos in bright colors. It is the same with colors to which normal tattoo ink is mixed.

Black light tattoos are a real alternative to normal tattoos that are visible at any time of day. However, you should be aware that there are no long-term studies on these tattoos and it is not certain whether the colors can be harmful to health. Properly stung, the black light tattoos are a real eye-catcher at any party and can shine with their full luminosity. Whether you actually want to glow forever in nightclubs or at moonlight minigolf, however, is a completely different question.
